Moved In...

Well...we have moved into our house. That basically means that all of our worldly goods are in our house, but not unpacked. We have spent the past two nights in the house on our brand new king sized bed (we used to sleep on a full sized bed). So now more fun begins...unpacking! Blah!!! Right now we do not have cable or internet at the house, but brighthouse should be coming out today to hook that up. With that said I will update more later (maybe with pictures) when our internet gets hooked up. 

We are now HOMEOWNERS!!!!

Today we bought our house!! Yay!!! Now comes the fun part...moving in. We went over this afternoon as soon as we got the keys and started cleaning. It didn't need much cleaning, just some dusting and vacuuming. We purchased our new mattress and it will be delivered on Saturday. Now all we need is our bedroom set we have picked out, a washer and dryer (which we will purchase tomorrow or Friday), and some living room furniture. We are hoping to get all moved in this weekend so we can do a deep clean of our apartment next weekend and be done in time for trick or treaters. We are so excited!!

7 More Days!!!!

We are closing on said house in 7 days (the 20th). It is very exciting!!  There are some exciting things happening!!!! I'm so excited, have I mentioned that I'm excited. Lol. I can't wait to move in. Stu and I went to look at furniture this past weekend and found a bedroom set that we LOVE. We will be moved in right before Halloween, which means for the first time since I moved down here I will be able to celebrate it and pass out candy and decorate for Fall!!! And for the first time since we have been married we get to put up a Christmas tree and decorate for Christmas (our FAVORITE holiday). Well that is just a quick update...now I need to go back to writing my midterm paper that is due tomorrow. It's almost finished, I'm just touching it up.

New Blog!!

Ok...so I'm starting a blog. Will anybody read it...probably not, and I'm ok with that. I really just wanted to blog about my life. So this is a blog about well...life.

First let me give you guys a little background. Stuart and I got married 2/14/09. So we have been married for almost two years (YAY!!). I am going back to school to become an Elementary School teacher. We have been looking to buy a house for the past year. We have finally found and have a contract on a house now. We are closing on "our" house on the 20th of October! We are so excited!!! Now we are thinking about having children. So that is what is going on in our lives now. I'm going to try and keep this updated as much as possible.
