I just found my blog again. I forgot all about it. Life has progressed as I'm sure you know. The time has flown!!! I know the saying time flys, but man it really does!!! As I get older (celebrated 29 years this year) the fast times goes. So to catch this blog up.
In May of 2013 Stuart and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. Isla. What a spunky little this she was and is!! She is my mini me and a very independent, loving, and very strong willed child!! We started cloth diapering her from about a week old, but never at night. Why mention that you might ask, well that would be because she has finally potty trained!!! Praise the maker!!!! Now we only have one child in cloth diapers!
Yes, you read that correctly...only one in cloth diapers. In January 2016 we welcomed a little boy into our family! Henry! Henry is our third and last baby. He weighed 10.1 pounds at birth and was 22 1/2 inches long. He was and is a big baby. While this sometimes makes me sad, we know this is best for our family. I'm not going to lie, there are times when the thought that my body will never house another human being makes me incredibly sad. But enough about that.
We made the jump to cloth diapering full time, meaning not just during the day but at night as well. It hasn't been as stressful as I thought it would be. So for all those nay sayers, I now laugh at you. We have spent approximately $1,000 on diapers. That's it!!! So for three children for five years we have spent $1,000. Not to mention that Henry will be using them for probably another 1 to 2 years. So if you are thinking of cloth diapering I say go for it.
Now for a little bit about our oldest. Sophia started Kindergarten this year. We still can not believe we have kindergartener. She is really enjoying school and making friends. She will start Girl Scouts soon, which she and I are very excited about. I was in Girl Scouts and loved it so I'm hoping she will too.
Stuart and I are doing well. We found out about two years ago that Stuart has a medical condition called clinically isolated syndrome that affects his nerves and muscles. We are coping well with it. It sucks really bad for Stu when it gets really hot, so you know about 9 months out of the year down here in Florida. We are still in our same house, but maybe one day we will get a slightly bigger house. I'm still a stay at home mom. I finished all the prerequisites for the nursing program but decided that nursing was not for me. I didn't like the schedule. I didn't like the thought of spending holidays away from my family and children. I give MAD props to nurses and doctors who do. Once Henry is in school I will go back and finish my Education degree. So that is everything new with us. I will leave you all with pictures of the family.

Life with a new baby...
So Sophia is now 9 weeks and 3 days old today. Life has changed for us, which we knew it would. I am now a stay at home mom...Yay!! I love every minute of it!! I'm learning how to sew, which has been fun so far. Sophia is a great baby!! She sleeps through the night and usually only wakes up between 6 and 7:30am to eat and usually goes to sleep right after. Lol. She is not a big crier so that's good. Overall I would say we are blessed.

We are having a baby!!
Well as most of you already know WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!! As of today I am 16 weeks and 2 days along. So far I feel great!! I did not have any morning sickness or anything like that. The worst this for me was when I brushed my teeth and the smell of cooked broccoli. So things are progressing quite well. I have not started showing yet, which I'm told is normal for the first baby. When I do start showing I will post pictures. My lower abdomen has become slightly bigger and more firm though. We have not found out what we are having yet...we should find out April 15th...if the baby lets us see. At my last doctors appointment I got to hear the baby's heartbeat through the Doppler. It was pretty neat. We (me and the doctor) found out that the baby (know to us as Peanut) is very active right now. I don't really feel Peanut yet...I have felt some fluttering but not much and I'm not entirely sure that it's Peanut that I'm feeling. Anyway...so that is a quick update.
